I have worked with Jill on several local Domestic Violence Committees over the past three years. She is an active participant and is always a positive colleague to have as she offers a perspective that is not usually available. Jill has an extensive knowledge of the issues of Domestic Violence and was an integral part of the White Ribbon Accreditation of Campbelltown Catholic Club. Jill is able to be proactive with the business community around this important issue and her input has been vital on many projects.
Jill, while working at Campbelltown Catholic Club was actively supporting Macarthur WDVCAS both professionally and collaboratively with significant initiatives such as the SafeT Cards duress alarms – enabling women in domestic violence situations to feel safe. Also organising the Club’s donation of Opal Cards – enabling women and children access to public transport to attend court. She also attended court with a female staff member on an ADVO matter to ensure her safety and support.
Jill was instrumental in the Club achieving the White Ribbon Workplace Accreditation in 2018 and she is continuing to promote workplace initiatives and support for workers experiencing domestic and family violence in her new role as a Consultant. I would happily recommend Jill as a Consultant to any business based on her professionalism, ethics and high standards.
I have worked closely with HR Managers in my work as an employment lawyer and had the pleasure of dealing with Jill Teeling for 15 years in her capacity as HR Manager for a large registered club. Her extensive professional background in this field is beyond par. She brings credibility, professionalism, and an open engaging style together with strong business acumen and exceptional people skills. Jill has a knack of quickly gaining trust, asking questions and listening actively and epitomises the “human” in Human Resources. An outstanding practitioner.
After 21 years of loyal service to the Campbelltown Catholic Club, Jill Teeling has tendered her resignation as General Manager of People & Culture. I personally wish to place on record my thanks, appreciation, and admiration for what Jill has achieved both personally and professionally. She will leave our Club with a well-earned and impeccable reputation in the IR and HR field built on a foundation of trust, empathy, and compassion. The recent announcement that the club has received White Ribbon Workplace Accreditation is a testament to Jill’s passion and sense of community and it is a fitting and appropriate milestone to bow out on.
Wishing Jill all the best for the future. I am sure we will continue to witness Jill’s great work in the community and see her around the Club often.
